The Altar of Sacrifice is the first thing that you would see when entered into the Tabernacle. This is the place where the Israelites would offer their animal sacrifices to God.

The Cleansing Pool (or Laver) was just outside of the Holy of Holies. It was used by priests to cleanse themselves before entering into the presence of God.

The “Bread of the Presence” acted as a constant reminder that God was the true source of nourishment for the people.

The Lamp-stand was positioned on the left side of the Holy of Holies. The light from this lamp stand was the only light allowed in the Tabernacle.

The Altar of Incense was a smaller version of the Altar of Sacrifice with its square shape and horns. Incense was to be burned constantly before in the Holy of Holies.

In the sacred dwelling of the Tabernacle, within the Holy of Holies, hangs the Veil – a tapestry both ornate and weighty. It’s purpose, profound and significant, is to stand as a barrier between the High Priest and the very presence of God.

The Ark of the Covenant was the Holiest object in the Tabernacle. It sat behind the veil and was the place that GOD would meet with Moses.
