Chapter 2: Cleansing

The air crackled with tension as a group of protesters gathered at the church's entrance, their signs bearing messages of judgment.

Their hateful slogans were now directed at a figure who seemed to embody everything they despised. Unmoved by their negativity, Jesus ascended the church steps with determination. It was a daring move; he challenged the forces that sought to restrict him.

The mob's cries clashed against the ancient walls of the church, but Jesus, fueled by righteous anger, refused to be silenced. As he reached the top of the steps, he grabbed their picket signs and symbols of hatred and threw them on the lawn. He stomped them into the dusty ground in an act that shocked onlookers. The protesters, momentarily silenced by the audacity of his actions, watched as their instruments of condemnation were reduced to mere shreds.

With authority, Jesus snatched a megaphone from one of the protesters and raised his voice above the chaos. "This is my Father's house!" he declared, words echoing through the air demanding attention. The confrontation at the church steps became a pivotal moment, a clash between hatred and the transformative power of a message rooted in love.
